Concert Watch and Everything In Between

Lately, I've been busy and haven't taken the time to update this thing. Rather than update it, I'll start from today forward. I won't mention the Cyclones vs Staten Island Yankees Game, the multiple 5K races, the new TV show interests (Firefly and the OC), or the new people in my life. Let's start at the Green Day Concert tonight. It was so amazing. The first open band is a blur since I wasn't there for that one. The second open band was Jimmy Eat World. I never realized how many hits they had. They weren't half bad. Finally, the greatest band touring came on stage. As always, Green Day performed a great show with pyrotechnics, audience participation, and a tour of the band's music spanning 16.5 years. They started with the first 5 tracks of the newest album (American Idiot) and ended with the pop favorite Time of Your Life (Good Riddance). The show was at Giants Stadium in NJ. It was worth the trip to the worst state in the Union. Next on deck is Coldplay next Tues. I recently made a daring move buying Foo Fighters/ Weezer tix on ebay. If it all pans out, I'll have GA floor tix to the show at Continental in October. We'll see how that turns out.
